Yesterday morning/ afternoon/ evening/ last night/ last evening

Hi everyone

Something tells me that the following expressions are correct:

‘Yesterday morning’
‘Yesterday afternoon.’
‘Last night’

However my intuition tells me that the following expressions are incorrect:

‘Yesterday evening.’
‘Yesterday night.’
‘Last evening.’

Is my intuition correct or not. Please tell me.

Hi,

Yesterday evening and last evening are acceptable because they both refer to the latter part of the day. But yesterday night is a sort of contradiction because of the clash between ‘day’ and ‘night’,
