would like/like to

Which are correct:
[color=indigo]
1-I would like to swim today.
[color=red]2-I would like swimming today.
[color=indigo]
3-I like to swim on Saturdays.
[color=red]4-I like swimming on Saturdays.

To me, ‘2’ seems wrong while ‘4’ seems fine.

Gratefully,
Navi.

Your are right. Only 2 is incorrect. It should be ‘I would like to go swimming today’.
You could also say “I like to go swimming on Saturdays.”

Beeesneees,
“I like swimming (today)/(on Saturdays).”
Is it OK?

‘Today’ is incorrect. This particular form indicates something which happens habitually, so needs to refer to a number of occasions, not just one day.
