Which of these verbs goes with system? And why?
Adopt a system
adjust a system
create a system

In my book, they are all possible in technical documents with a certain context, but I’d use establish a system instead of create a system. I’d leave the reason to the experts.

1.What’s the difference between “adopt a system” and “establish a system”?
2.We should say “adjust a system” or “adjust the system”?

adopt a system = adopt an already established system.
establish a system = establish a new system.

adjust a system = adjust a system which you mentioned for the first time, or you think the reader does not know which specific system you refer to .
adjust the system = adjust the system which you mentioned before, or you think the reader knows of which system you refer to.
