Which explanation is better?

Hello teachers,
a) I may/might read it after dinner.
b) She may/might be home now.
Which explanation is better for [color=blue]‘a;b’?

  1. Explanations for the previous sentences’
  2. Meaning for the previous sentences’?
By the way, is it ‘to’ instead of ‘for’?

[color=blue]a) Perhaps/maybe I will read it after dinner.
b) Perhaps/maybe she is at home now.

Thanks in advance.

I don’t understand what you are asking.

Having given it a little further thought, I’m guessing that you mean to ask this:

a) I may/might read it after dinner.
b) She may/might be home now.

When following sentences (a) and (b) above with a further explanation, is it best to say:

  1. Explanations for the previous sentences’
  2. Meaning for the previous sentences’?
By the way, is it ‘to’ instead of ‘for’?

Also are these further explanations to (a) and (b) correct?
a) Perhaps/maybe I will read it after dinner.
b) Perhaps/maybe she is at home now.

Use:

  1. Explanations for the previous sentences:
  2. Meanings of the previous sentences:
(I think (2) is more natural)

They’re okay.

Hello Beeesneees,
Thank YOU so much for teaching me how to ask in detail about my questions! You’ve guessed it perfectly.
