  1. when you want to refer to a person who you don’t know, or you don’t care about their name :
    there is someone at the door.
    I need somebody to talk.

  2. when a person is somebody/ someone in a particular place or kind of work, it means he or she is an important person in this place or kind of work.
    He is someone in our town.

  1. Somabody can mean a person of importance and take plural form. Nobodies posing as somebodydies.
