I like your comment but this is a trick question. ‘Ajar’ is a word that describes a door when it is not closed or locked so you can simply push it open. Then there is the word ‘jar’ that means a small usually round container made of glass in which something like jam is kept with a lid on top. So the joke/trick is that you have two expressions - ajar and a jar.
