Do you want obstacles for your life ? “For” is a preposition used mainly for purposes. “What is the obstacle in your life?” sounds pretty much correct.

You can use the collocation “obstacle for”, but in your example it sounds very odd. It suggests either a lifelong obstacle or something used to prevent living. And of course, using the word the suggests there is only one single obstacle in life.
“for life” = forever (i.e., your entire life)
