Can anyone else tell me the difference between “representative” and “delegate”? and Are there exist other words with same meaning?
Hi, Katelin
In my opinion (honestly, not 100 % sure).
“representative” : to speak, act or be present officially for another person or people . It means the representative person does not have any power, right to do the official thing like signing a contract, do the works for you… but “delegate” can do them for you. the person you delegate has the right, power to represent you for doing sth.
Thanks. but I supposed the reversed is right? that’s “representative” has more power than “delegate”…
