What's the difference between adjectives in general and predicate adjectives?

hello teachers

could you please tell me the difference between

(adjectives in general and predicate adjectives)

but please in a simple way

thanks in advance

Dear Hanygeorge,

Adjectives can be part of the predicate - the verb in a sentence. Look at this example: Hanygeorge is an intelligent person. In this sentence the adjective ‘intelligent’ is linked to the verb ‘is’. That’s why it’s in this case ‘intelligent’ is called ‘predicate adjective’.
Maybe, Alan will give you more examples.[YSaerTTEW443543]
