I think the spelling of the above given time is wrong. In my opinion it should be as follows: It is 12 minutes past six p.m. or just 12 past six p.m.

Hi, I have one question: For p.m. we use afternoon and evening and I’m not sure when to use each one? I suppose that is some rule for this?

There isn’t a set rule for that, Anea. You have to form your own opinion.
Most people tend to class the onset of evening at between 4 and 6pm sometime.
