  • It is twenty to ten in the morning.
  • It is nine forty in the morning.

b) 6:12 p.m.

  • It is six past twelve in the evening.
  • It is six twelve in evening.

c) 2:30 p.m.

  • It is half past two in the afternoon.
  • It is two thirty in the afternoon.

d) 5:00 a.m.

  • It is five o’clock in the morning.
  • It is five in the morning.

e) 10:15 a.m.

  • It is quarter past ten in the morning.
  • It is ten fifteen in the morning.

f) 7:47 p.m.

  • It is thirteen to eight in the evening.
  • It is seven forty seven in the evening.

This is the way I read and said the time:

9:40 a.m.
Nine forty in the morning

6:12p.m.
Six twelve in the evening

2:30p.m.
Two thirty in the afternoon

5:00 a.m.
Five o’clock in the morning

10:15 a.m
Ten fifteen in the morning

7:47 p.m.
Sevev forty seven in evening.

Is it right? How about this:

9:02 a.m.
Nine O two in the morning or
Nine two in the morning?

5:09 p.m.
Five O nine in the evening or
Five nine in the evening?

I really was confuse of how to read that zero in reading the time
but, I often use to read it as nine O two and five O nine.
Is it the right way to read the zero as O?

12:00 a.m. : It is midnight.
12:00 p.m. : It is noon.

Could you please show me some examples? and pls correct me: 12:00 a.m is after 11.59 a.m (in the morning)?
