When you are confused you can’t think clearly or you are finding it difficult to make sense of something.

When you are overwhelmed you are usually overcome by a strong emotion such as joy or happiness.

When you are distracted are unable to concentrate or focus on something.

Welcome to our forum. Why did you want to get definitions for the three adjectives you have posted? You might want to look them up in a dictionary next time.

First of all, Thank you for this keen response. Second, yes, you are right I can find it in a dictionary or something like that. But, I prefer to ask a person like me instead of an app or so.

Being overwhelmed can mean being confused and distracted. In other words, if you are overwhelmed by something, it could cause confusion and distraction also. On the other hand, confusion and distraction do not necessarily imply being overwhelmed. In other words, they are not always interchangeable, and if you want to use them interchangeably, you have to specify that you’re doing so.
