my fav bands would have to be (for rock) blink 182/sum 41/def leaopard, i mostly listen to rap like Ludacris, his new song get back, its pretty good.
And as for me I love with all the passion Reamonn and mostly Phil and Rea Garvey. Theyve got simple pop songs to my mind, but still I feel myself very comfortable in my big armchair under a warm blanket with the silent sounds of the drums and sweet sound of voice singing :"I
ll show you my promised land"…These are he only words and guys who really make me feel sure in myself, make me feel covenient in this world and whom I like very very much!!!
Echo Jet
Lacuna Coil
Lunachicks
Manowar
The Misfits
Clutch
I love Clayton Senne, Led Zepplin, Ours, Rush, and tons more
The Energy
Lamb
NIN
Opeth
Fantomas
Faith No More
I like The Connels. They are not that popular, maybe that’s why I like them. They have that great song -“74-75” - has anyone listened to it? it’s great
I Love “The Cranberries”. The singer’s voice is celestial. Like people use to say: “It’s my favorite band ever”. Their lyrics are about all kinds of love and I love that.
Call me old fashion, but…Michael Learns To Rock…forever!
I love all of their songs but my old time favourite is 25 minutes.
Boy, I’ve missed your kisses all the time,
But this is twenty-five minutes too late…
Forever indeed. Why did he never graduate
Do you like Chicago? Bet you do
Or aul’ Pete solo, maybe?
I’m more a fan of individual songs as opposed to groups… but here’s a list of some of my favs during different points in my life:

Hi prez,
I know’em all, and they’re still composing their features in the face of dust (on my CD rack)
I’ve noticed this in your genealogical chart as well - the older we get, the less (contemporary or more recent) lyrics we seem to remember :!: But those Chicago lyrics are still there, whether we like it or not!
PS - I think we were born in the same year
ROFL, exactly
I feel like a lot of people on here are prolly too young to remember much before the mid-90s or so…
So here’s to Boyz II Men, probably the top R&B group of the early-mid '90s.
Here were their hits, all coming in that span (about 1991-1995):
- Motownphilly
- It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday
- Uhh-Ahh
- End of the Road
- I’ll Make Love To You
- On Bended Knee
- Water Runs Dry
- One Sweet Day (w/ Mariah Carey)
That’s not a lot of hits, per se… but four of those were among the biggest hits of the 1990s:
End of the Road
I’ll Make Love to You
On Bended Knee
One Sweet Day
Check out the songs on YouTube or VH1.com
Here’s their Wiki page:
…they had a couple hits after 1995, but nothing approaching their 1991-95ish success.
In Ireland and Britain, a similar boyish threat became reality at that time - Boyzone!
There impact was truely terrible, and the charts were shaken by these tunes serenading leagues of teenage girls’ hearts:

- 1995 “Key to My Life” #3 UK
- 1995 “So Good” #3 UK

Will wonders never cease!

Indeed! I wasn’t aware of the possible pun.

Do you like Chicago? Bet you do
Or aul’ Pete solo, maybe?
Yes and yes. Gosh! What a nostalgia. I was not aware I am that old now. I thought I’ve heard of the 80s babies. Yep, I am one.
Fool again!?! Gosh, I can’t believe I am listening to it again. I’ve been busy with J-pop all these years. Thanks, Ralf!
