What English book to read?

English as a Second Language What do you want to talk about?

I have to read a book that’s minimum 450 pages.
I don’t want to read more than 500 pages.

What books can you recommend?
If possible, i’d like the plot to be somewhat simple, so it is easier to write a report about it and present the book.

No Harry Potter books.

Hello,

I would recommend that you read one of the many John Grisham books out there. The language is not too difficult, you’ll get all sorts of examples of colorful dialogue and the stories are pretty entertaining.
