What does 'beer' mean in your native language?

You probably know the drink that is called “beer” in English. Since beer has been brewed for centuries in different parts of the world, the word for “beer” is similar in many languages. Apparently not in all languages, though. Enjoy:

In Russian it’s different: пиво (pivo).
But Russian beer is worse than European :sweat_smile:

The sound “beer” itself is like “get empty” in Korean.
Actually we call beer “Mac-Ju”… “Mac” means barley while “Ju” is alcohol. So different from “beer”.
