Besides having a very fast progress, the world is now facing many problems afflicting all countries and people. For examples, the whole world is fighting against the process of global warming, the terrorism and the poverty. In my opinion, of such serious problems, global warming is the most troublesome to us, and needs handling firstly.
Simply, the global warming is the process of increasing in average-temperature near the earth’s surface. The phenomenon results from the increasing amount of carbon dioxide caused by several actions of human beings such as burning fossil fuels and deforestation. Having a simple conception, however, global warming causes countless consequences. For example, it causes ice beg and snow to melt, consequently raising the sea level. Many low countries like Dutch are now facing the possibility of flood and tsunami; thus they have to spend million of dollars to build dams, etc. Moreover, the change of temperature leads into the change of weather and habitat of the animals, plants and human beings. For example, in recent years in my country, the climate becomes very odd and changeable; it is now cold in the summer and hot in the winter. This remarkable change makes many kinds of animals come to extinction, many kinds of plants die and many people, especially elderly, get sick frequently.
For its effects on the earth and human beings, global warming is truly the most serious problem at the moment. Obviously, controlling, stopping and then revering the process are not as easy as causing it. No single country can stop global warming alone; it is very essential to have the co-operation among all countries over the world. Each country has the same project to control the amount of carbon dioxide released in its area by planting more green trees, reducing trash and the consumption of fossil fuel. Anyway, the main point is to make all people in the world aware of the seriousness of global warming and how to control it. By those ways, we hope that after at most a century, human beings can stop the process and revere it.

I am so sorry if you will re-teach this topic to me. I just relay on my ear. If the sentence sounds awkward it means there a problem in it. I really want to be fluent in written and speaking English, but it is really hard for me. I am an English teacher here in the Phil. but still I know in my self that I am not that good and I always commit lapses in grammar and pronunciation.
