In my opinion the main characteristics of a good teacher are: Patience, good teaching didactic skills and motivate their classroom.
When we are learning a new topic some people get the teacher explanation easily. On the other hand, it takes longer for some students to understand the same topic. Therefore, a good teacher has to have patience to explain again until the subject is well understood by everyone. By being patience and given good explanations, it will motivate students to ask more questions and by answering some students questions it would be able to clarify other students doubts.
To be a good teacher, people should have to have good teaching didactic skills. They should be able to find out a best way to teach a complex topic and be well understood by everyone.
For example: By drawing figures on board, using computer resources or even by given examples from our daily lives to explain a specific subject.
Moreover, using the right teaching didactic technique, teacher would be able to make their classes more dynamic and students would be able to learn faster and easier.
In some way a good teacher also have to know how to motivate their students. They should be able to find a way to make his/her class interesting. This way, students would fell motivated to attend their classes and would go further to learn more about that subject.
To sum up, what I have described above, teachers used to have a big influence in students
learning process or even in students future career path choice. Therefore, students have to learn from a good teacher to have a good reference in their future lives.
