Just a further note on ‘spindoctors’. This is usually used in a bad sense to describe those people who try to improve the image or reputation of someone they work for in order to influence the public. The word is used to describe press officers working for politicians. People in the UK are getting very tired of these spindoctors because people find it difficult to get to the truth.
