whether I’m going to get soaking wet or frozen to death or I should…

Which is correct:

2- Well, I do a lot of walking around this city.

I hear “a lot of walking” which also makes much more sense here than ‘working’.

My first thought was “working”, but after listening a dozen times I think it’s walking - probably. His accent puts it somewhere between the two.
