Hi, Cochita. We’ve not been introduced, but welcome back anyway.

Thanks for the welcome, Stew and Molly.

By the way, Molly, why have I got the feeling that we’ve met before?

On this forum?

Dear Conchita,
I glad to see you too!
Best wishes
Slava

Best wishes to you too, Slava, and thank you!

On this and other forums, yes. In fact, you do remind me a lot of an old friend…

Really? Is she from Nigeria?

.
Hey, Conchita! Welcome back again.
By the way, I could swear I heard your voice online somewhere. Am I remembering correctly?
.

Difficult to say. For some reason s/he has this habit of wanting to keep a low profile, which makes people even more curious, of course.

Thanks, Amy.

And yes, you probably are. Could it have been on KanTalk, or MySpace, maybe?

By the way, when do we get to hear your voice? It’d be really nice (probably the next best thing to actually seeing someone live, I think).

Hi Conchita

Yes, it was KanTalk. I enjoyed your song there, too! By the way, are you the only (or lead) singer in your folk band? Or are the guys crooners, too?

My voice tends to show up online primarily via Skype.
.

Curiosity killed the cat, so they say. Hope you remain friends with your old friend.

BTW, Cochita, what’s a language coach?

Two of the musicians do the occasional vocal accompaniment (the guitarist even does a couple of pop songs) and I usually sing the lead vocals.

I ask nothing more than that.

To me, it’s the same as ‘teacher’, which, incidentally, is the term I normally use.
