Are you affected by the weather? I am and am particularly at the moment because it keeps raining all the time. People tend to repeat the well known mantra: It’s global warming. Have I got news for them! It’s certainly not the case here - it’s a typical summer day in the UK.

We’ve had rain off and on all summer here in Connecticut, but not too much and not too little. It’s been an absolutely gorgeous summer day today. Bright and sunny, and not quite 80 degrees (F) in mid-afternoon. And the humidity is noticeably lower than it normally is this time of year – which tends to make me a very happy camper. :lol:

I’m not a happy camper at all these days - 30 odd degrees © day in day out tend to get me down. There’s no oxygen here in Europe! You can consider yourself lucky, Alan. Oh how I miss the fresh breeze! The light and constant drizzle! And, at night time, the monotonous and soothing raindrops drumming pitter patter beats on faintly shifting leaves. And the gurgling drainpipes!
