why not: woven?

Just because a material is woven, doesn’t make it suitable for low temperatures. Something made out of a thin loose woven cotton material would be more suited to a sunny beach!

Besides not all the materials used to make warm clothes are woven.
For example, clothes and sweaters are often knitted.
