Use of "with you"

If my friend Mary says “that guy XX is not reliable”, and if I tell (to Mary) ‘I am with you’ - Is it common or wrong usage.

My intention is - I have the same opinion.

Thanks,

It is slang, but it is common usage. Personally, to make it more clear, I would say “I am with you on that.”

If you want to phrase your response in standard usage, you could say “I definitely agree.”
