In office, person A has to finish some task (set-up some software). She has not been doing it.
Can I say “I chased her, but the set-up was not completed”
Is “chase” used in this situation, or only for Love/Dating related situations?
Thanks!

You wouldn’t use ‘chase’ in this context but ‘push’: "I’ve been pushing her but she hasn’t set up the software yet’.
Thanks Torsten, for your help!
Is there any alternative -
“I went after her, but she did not finish.”
I’m afraid this won’t work.
Ok, thanks Torsten for your time and help!
