Hello,

Which version sounds better in your book?

  1. Staff have to take or cause to be taken every precaution to prevent work-related injury at the work place.
  2. Staff have to take or cause to take every precaution to prevent work-related injury at the work place.
  3. Staff have to take or cause to have taken every precaution to prevent work-related injury at the work place.
  4. Yours =) (if none of those makes the grade)

I would suggest:

Staff have to take every precaution ( or ensure that others do so) to prevent work-related injury at the work place.

Not brilliant but I’m not that happy with the three above.
