Is this sentence “Unfortunately, sometimes my connection disconnected suddenly” right?

Does it sound strange to you? It sounds quite strange although it is almost correct. There are better ways of expressing it though.

How about:
Unfortunately, sometimes my connection drops suddenly.
Unfortunately, my connection suddenly drops from time to time.
