To travel & To turn

Hi everybody,

“The Beatles in the early days used to travel around Liverpool and Hamburg”. Can I also say “… used to TURN around Liverpool and Hamburg”?

Thanks a lot. Have a nice day!

Or perhaps “… used to ROAM around Liverpool and Hamburg”?

Thanks once more.

‘roam’ is okay, though possibly not accurate in this case as ‘roam’ and ‘travel’ are similar but not necessarily synonyms. ‘Turn’ is incorrect.
