Hi Torsten,

That I would describe as rather flowery - the sort of language you might well find in books dubbed ‘romantic’ fiction. The writer who was the queen in this style was Dame Barbara Cartland who lived till she was 99 and churned out over 700 novels. Although she died in 2001, her son continued to publish dozens more of her unpublished scripts after her death. She was a well known celebrity in my neck of the woods.
