Hi teachers,
- This shoe is upside down. Please put it straight. How to say this?
Many thanks in advance.
Hi teachers,
Many thanks in advance.
Hi,
The reference to the shoe being ‘upside down’ is a little unusual but in general if you want to put something ‘straight’, to use your word, you would say: Put it the right way up.
Alan
Thank you, Sir Alan - then what must I say if the shoe is upside down?
Hi,
Possibly, ‘the wrong way round’. Then you could say: Put it the right way round.
Alan
Thank you very much.
