These are jumbled books

Hi teachers,

Are these sentences correct?

Adj. + noun

I saw jumbled books on the floor.
There are jumbled books in your room.
These are jumbled books.

Many thanks.

If you mean that the books were all mixed up and lying in a heap, I would use ‘jumbled’ like this:

I saw a jumble of books on your floor.
I saw a jumbled pile of books on your floor.

There’s a jumble of books in your room.
There’s a heap of jumbled books in your room.

If you mean they are out of order, then I would say:
These books are jumbled up.

Thank you.
In #1 and #3, it is used as a noun, and in #2 and #4, it is used as an adjective. Am I right?
