‘In there’ would work too if we were talking about something like a cave or a tunnel. I don’t see how ‘on there’ or ‘at there’ could work. Where did you find this exercise and why are not using ours instead?
To me, it looks like defective question, Torsten. As you have observed, two answers there and in there are possible.
