the verb to bet

Is is OK to say “I bet you to do it” or is the only acceptable phrasing “I bet you that I will do it”? Thanks in advance for an answer.

In my opinion these are OK:

  1. I bet that I will do it.
  2. I bet you that I will do it.
  3. I bet you $10 that I will do it.

“I bet you to do it” is not good English and its meaning is unclear.
