the purpose for this meeting vs. the purpose of this meeting

Hi, is there any difference between ‘the purpose for this meeting’ and ‘the purpose of this meeting’?

Thanks,

No significant difference in meaning, but I wouldn’t use ‘purpose + for’:

The reason for this meeting is… (The motive for…)
The purpose of this meeting is… (The intention of…)

Well, I wouldn’t use ‘the purpose for’ either but I came across it in an episode of The Office.[YSaerTTEW443543]
