the film The Crazy Driver is playing / broadcasting

Hello,

Context
: suppose that I am watching a film on TV and want to call my sister who is sitting in her room to come and join me to watch the film together. Suppose that the name of the film is The Crazy Driver.
I have made up a sentence myself.

Could I possibly say the following?

“[color=blue]Jennifer, Jennifer, come here the film The Crazy Driver is playing / broadcasting.”

I’m particularly curious to know whether ‘playing or broadcasting’ make sense in this context.

I have checked “playing” and “broadcasting” in the dictionary, but I can’t decide whether they pertain in my context.

Thank you

They’re both possible, though a better term would be ‘showing’.
However, the most common and natural way to say that would be:
“… the film, “The Crazy Driver” is on.”
or
“… the film, “The Crazy Driver” is on TV.”

Many thanks.
