I sense ‘contact’ isn’t the best word to describe a carpet being kept away (‘The carpet that will come in contact with human(s)’ sounds a bit intimidating to me). I would go for ‘touch’ as more suitable here:
1–The carpet will not be used in a place where people could touch it.
2-- The carpet will not be used in an area where people could step in.
3-- You mean it shouldn’t be put out across the street?..
My guess you meant to say it should be kept away from the air polluted by heavy traffic.
4—‘The carpet will not be exposed too much’ would be enough in my view.
5-- The carpet will be used (in an area) where nobody could touch it.
Still I may well be wrong…
People will not come into contact with this carpet.
The carpet will be used in a high traffic area.
The carpet will be used in a low traffic area.
The carpet will not be regularly walked on.
The carpet will be laid in an area where it can be stepped on.
