"soon" versus "early"

Please read:

a. A: We’ll be landing.
B: So soon?

b. A: We’ll be landing.
B: So early?

“soon” and “early” in (a) and (b)are interchangeable?(Same meaning?)

Thanks

Hi,

In your examples:

So soon? suggests that you are surprised that the flight has passed so quickly and you are already landing.

So early? suggests that you are surprised you are already landing because the time is earlier than is shown on the timetable.
