The top ones here are prevention, but based on the political atmosphere (sorry, bad pun!) here in the US, I think we will just let it get really really bad and then finally act with some sort of artificial volcano / sulfur dioxide in the stratosphere type plan, which will probably end up doing even more damage.

I think the political atmosphere has changed away from subsidizing fossil fuel energy towards renewable energy and ‘green growth’ which is a step in the right direction although it’s still a far cry from what really needs to be done if future generations are to live on this planet. #degrowth
