Oh, it seems it does snow pretty heavily out there. It snowed a lot here.
Thank you Micawber. But the sentence I actually intended to ask was
Oh…It seems it does snow pretty well out there. It didn’t snow much here
OK, then use that, but change the first sentence as I showed you; don’t keep repeating your error.
So,it would be something like this?
Oh, it seems it does snow pretty heavily out there. It snowed a little here.
Something like that. Why do you keep changing it?
I did not change my sentence. it was a typo for “didn’t”. i typed ‘did’ for ‘didn’t’(a huge change!) in my query earlier.
It didn’t snow much here ==> It snowed a little here.
(correct me if I am wrong)
They express opposite perspectives on the same condition.
Can you please read the first sentence(my query) in the thread?. I am commenting on my friend’s snow-picture say.Heavy snow in his place and there is light snow in my place.
Hi Beeesneees,
I would like to hear your thought on this please.
Oh, it seems it does snow pretty heavily out there. <-- Only use ‘does’ if you are making a comment about how much snow generally falls there. If you are commenting on a specific period of snowfall, then:
Oh, it seems it snowed /did snow pretty heavily out there. It only snowed a little here.
