Slavery in England. Any idea why the publishers look for excuses not to

There are two books on slavery in England during the 16th, 17th century, etc. I ordered one on Amazon, but I was correctly reimbursed. Any idea why the publishers always look for excuses not to send it, or say ‘not available at the moment?’ Because that"s how I feel. Are they trying to hide something? Is there something the world must never know? Well, I do want to know. It’s a bit like censorship, what do you think?

I don’t think there is any intentional censorship involved. I think it’s pure business and sales numbers. If a book is selling well, they will continue printing and selling it.

It’s a sensitive issue that is sometimes glossed over. But I don’t think there is any systematic censorship. The information is out there.
