Hi everyone,

I like Game of Thrones. I watch it in English with subtitle.
Money and Girls move the world. In a figurative sense.
It’s a sunny day. There are not any clouds in the sky.
Spring is here. Trees and flowers become green.
Can you talk about anything in English? Actually, I can’t.

I watch it in English with subtitles.
Money and girls move the world in a figurative sense. (All one sentence.)
There are no clouds in the sky. (This is a more fluent way of saying the same thing).

The rest is okay, except that we would usually say ‘The trees and flowers are turning green’.

Is subtitles a plural and singular at the same time?

The trees and flowers are blooming. I guess it’s also acceptable.

a subtitle: one single caption appearing on the screen.
subtitles: different captions appearing one after the other.

‘The trees and flowers are blooming’ is not usually acceptable, because trees don’t ‘bloom’ (though some ‘blossom’).

Correct alternatives:
The trees are growing new leaves and the flowers are blooming.
The trees are in bud and the flowers are blooming.
The cherry trees are blossoming and the flowers are blooming.

It drinks a lot of water because it is thirsty.

I’m not sure whether this:
You will get the books on table C
means what you think it means. It means ‘You will receive the books that are currently on the table labelled C’.
‘cannot’ is one word.
