I’m not sure there are any differences, but those terms (other than ‘shop’) originated in the US so perhaps someone from that side of the pond might correct me.
Malls are generally roofed while plazas are often not; shops are generally smaller than stores; but neither of those are absolutes: owners name them as they wish, not according to those guidelines.

(in USA) Macy is a shopping mall and Outlet is a shopping plaza???
I am not familiar with either of those stores, but if they are chain stores, then they are likely to appear in various guises across the country.
