Shades of Grey...

Some songs have great lyrics that actually get you thinking. Here is an example:

Shades Of Grey"

Thought it was love, memories scope the lies
That lead me far from here, here, far from here
Trying hard to silence all you say but
You stay in my ear, you stay in my ear
Because everything you didn’t want
Became a part of me
All the things you asked for
I just could not see
Everything you are, everything you are
Everything you are, left a broken heartbeat

[Chorus:]
Through the darkest shades of grey
I see beauty in the rain
I find myself, hold me tears are blinding my eyes
Let me find myself, go free and walk alone in the night
Through the darkest shades of grey
I see beauty in the rain
Heart stops on the ground where I’m lying
Called out to a stranger and I

Sleeping alone I cried out, for you in my dream
No matter how hard I try to change you
You won’t change with me
Because everything you didn’t want
Became a part of me
All the things you asked for
I just could not see
Everything you are, everything you are
Everything you are, left a broken heartbeat[YSaerTTEW443543]

Just discovered Delilah… This is a beautiful lyrics…

When I read these lyrics, I imagined somebody unhappy singing in the rain, suffering alone on the ground or crying, because of an unshared love.

Then, I looked for the video and I found an interesting face who was smiling, an interesting and coloured video which doesn’t match the lyrics which are sensitive and sad or at least not optimistic.

So, like Ivana, I discovered Delilah and I liked her – she’s different and interesting.

The lyrics need indeed some more thinking – at first sight I didn’t understand what it was about.
