Sentence: Where are you looking at basing yourself?

Is the conversation below correct:

Q: Where are you looking at basing yourself?
A: Any location in Australia is okay for me.

“Where are you looking at basing yourself” seems very unnatural.
I suggest:
"Where do you want to be based?’
or
‘Where do you plan on basing your work?’

It sounds OK to me, but it also sounds fairly informal – more informal than the options Beeesneees gave. The meaning is similar to ‘Where do you intend to be based’.

Thanks Beeesneees and Esl_Expert and for your help!
