Sentence: ... students enrolled this year at our university than last year.

please any one give me the right answer

  • … students enrolled this year at our university than last year.

a-Less of the b-A few more c-A few d- Less

b.

Hi,

Why isn’t ‘d’ okay?

You can actually count students. We do not use “less” with countable nouns, at least we should not. “Fewer students enrolled this year …” is OK, though, but this option has not been given.

is ’ a few more ’ is english ? ?? ?

Thank you, Milanya. I didn’t know this.

Yes, it is.

i think it will be Afew more as it followed by plural noun (students)

my sir says that it will be (less)

the question is in the secondry level for the whole students of egypt

iam an egyptian student . i hope that it will be ((less))
