Sentence: Sometimes we treat the people we love most with the least amount...

Dear friends,

I’ve recently read a nice sentence which I would like to share with you: “sometimes we treat the people we love most with the least amount of respect without even realizing it”.

Cheers,
Simin

i don’t think it’s nice at all.it’s rather sad because it’s a true sentence.

To me it’s nice as reading such a sentence could awake us to have a look at our behaviour to change and improve it. Simin

how are you liking this place?correct or incorrect

I think it’s right. I myself sometimes treat my family members like that without realizing it. After behaving that way, I often feel ashamed of myself. I think we have to be much more aware of the way we treat other people in our family, give much more care, and respect. It’s such a way to make the family environment easier and warmer.

One of the old standard songs in American popular music goes like this:

You always hurt the one you love,
the one you shouldn’t hurt at all.
You always take the sweetest rose,
and crush it 'til the pedals fall.
You all ways break the kindest heart,
with a hasty word you can’t recall.
So if I broke your heart last night,
it’s because I love you most of all.

That’s nice Jamie. That’s very nice, a good poem selection.

It’s really a song. You can listen to one of the most famous performances of it here:

I don’t think it’s a good idea to treat your family members, wife, girlfriend, husband, etc. with “respect”. They will immediately assume that you’re up to something.

MrP

Why do we need to do so?

If you do love somebody, it’s better for you to tell him/ her how deep you are in love beacuse you won’t be sure that you will see or meet him/her again.

Time goes very fast and all of us need to take a break and lead a happy life with those whom we do love as well as who love us.

I mean that we should understand the word “respect” in a positive way. Why did you put the word respect in quotation marks?

Men, you love them, they drive you crazy. :?

Ahh, men, you can’t live with them, you can’t live without them (actually you can, just don’t tell anybody).

Dames! Who can figure 'em!

It was supposed to be a joke, Jamie.

Oh, bother!

I was just giving you another funny old expression.

Okay.
