Sentence correction: When i was in B.tech, we gave dance program on the College

I am writing some sentences below this line.

“When i was in B.tech, we gave dance program on the College Function Day. We hadn’t synchronized the dance steps , so the dance program didn’t get well”.

Does the above paragraph contain any mistakes?

Well, I’d simply put it like this -
"When I was in B.Tech, we gave a dance program on the College Function Day. We hadn’t synchronized the dance steps, so the dance program didn’t go down well.
