Sentence: Anything is good for getting a promotion

Is this sentence correct:
[color=red]1-Anything is good for getting a promotion.

Meaning: One can use any means one finds suitable to get a promotion.

Hello Navi,

The default interpretation of that sentence (i.e. without context) would be:

  1. Anything will enable you to get a promotion.

Whereas I think you want to suggest e.g.

  1. Anything is justified in getting a promotion.

Best wishes,

MrP

How about this?

Anything goes when wanting (a) promotion.
Anything goes in getting that promotion.
