Rude about vs rude to?

Put a correct preposition to the blank:
1.I didn’t realise she was the author so I was so rude … his new book.
I look ‘‘rude’’ up in the dictionary and find that it has to do with ‘‘to’’ but I think ‘‘about’’ is more appropriate.
Is this true? Please give me your opinion

Can you give me a clearer explanation because I only do it by feeling.
Many thanks.

Hi Duc,

‘Rude about’ is less specific than ‘rude to’. You can be rude about someone behind their back but rude to when you are face to face.

Can you put prepositions to a blank or into a blank?

Are you talking about two people here? (she was the author/his new book)[YSaerTTEW443543]

Ah I write it by mistake.Sorry !!

Hey! you need to improve more on your expression. look at the last sentence, felt it’s better written; Ah i wrote it by mistake. sorry! more power to your elbow. you can do better. Best of luck
