Please could you tell me what ‘richer possiblity’ means in this sentence?
Dreams don’t interest him; that this should be real is a richer possibility.

As I understand it, he is not interested in dreams but rather in real events as these provide him with some kind of tangible experience. It’s hard to tell though without further context.

This would suggest ‘an even greater possibility’ - in other words ‘a real possibility’ in contrast to a dream.
