Could you please elaborate the given quote for me, or simplify for that matter? :smiley:

" I do not know who said ‘travels broadens the mind’, but he should have added ’ the broader the mind, the thinner it gets’. Most of the shallowest people I have seen in most places, I have seen through the eyes of a travel folder."

Waiting anxiously for I could understand nothing from it.

That is unusual. It almost seems to be saying “Beauty is only skin deep” — in a very roundabout way. :lol:

I think you interpreted that sentence well. :smiley:
Travel and travel folders are only the surface of a country and usually only an idealized surface. It’s shallow. You can’t truly get to know and understand a foreign country simply as a tourist.
